Light on but tablet not able to connect to Pi

Light on but tablet not able to connect to Pi

Step-1
Restart the Pi and tablets and then try again

Step-2
Check if the Pi code int tablet and Pi is same

Step-3
Go to Settings and click on WLAN
Click on the options button present in top right corner and click on Saved Networks
Remove all the saved networks starting with Pi_AP_
Navigate back to app and try connecting.
If app is unable to automatically connect, then connect manually by entering password as ‘Raspberry’ 

Note- This situation generally arises when someone shut down the Pi navigating through TV screen in this scenario Pi stops processing (gets Switched off) but its light still glows because it is connected to a power source.
