What is the process of recording attendance of students using the Attendance Chatbot/Smart Upasthiti Chatbot?
If you are Non-Teaching Staff:
- As per state guidelines, you may submit your own Check-in (if allowed). However, you will not be able to mark student attendance.
If you are Teaching Staff, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Register & Check-in
- Ensure you’re registered on the bot.
- Complete your Check-in before attempting to mark student attendance.
Step 2: Record Student Attendance
- Tap on ‘Record Student Attendance’ from the Home Menu.
- Select the Class and Section.
- All students are marked Present by default.
- Tap on ‘Absent’ beside the names of students who are not present.
- Submit the attendance.
- To record attendance for another class, tap on ‘Change Class’.
